Ocean Uprise Youth Summit

In order to protect marine ecosystems and their inhabitants, we need to get to know them, because we only protect what we love! There’s no better way to learn about the sea than through total immersion into it. This belief guided the creation of the OU Summit, which blends ocean education and activism with exploration on, under, in, and around the ocean.

The OU Summit is a 5-day experience dedicated to empowering young leaders to accelerate change for the oceans through ocean immersion, hands-on activism, and expanding their knowledge about the significance of marine ecosystems as well as the main threats the oceans are facing. Together with world-class leaders, each Summit allows 30 of the top global youth activists to come together to learn and build 2 innovative ocean solutions which they will then scale throughout the following year.
