Essay Competition for Commonwealth Youth on Youth Leadership in Ocean and Climate Action

The Commonwealth Youth Climate Change Network is pleased to launch the Waves of Change: Commonwealth Youth Essay Competition.

This competition, brought to you by the Commonwealth Youth Climate Change Network and the Ocean Youth Working Group, invites young people to share their insights on a crucial topic: How can youth leadership in ocean and climate action advance resilience and sustainability?

Objective

The essay competition invites young people across the Commonwealth to explore the vital role of youth leadership in driving climate action across both ocean-based and broader solutions. It highlights how youth innovation and leadership can deliver transformative change in tackling the climate crisis and protecting our shared future.

Essay topic

Waves of Change: How can youth leadership in ocean and climate action advance resilience and sustainability?

You must be aged between 18-29 years old and a Commonwealth national to participate in this competition.
