Paid Research Opportunity: Migrant Youth and Climate Justice in Australia

ree

Are you a first or second-generation migrant or refugee from the Global South aged 18-29 years old living in Australia who is passionate about climate justice?

We want to hear your stories, perspectives and agendas about climate justice!

The project will involve a short online survey (30 minutes), a virtual workshop (3.5 hours) to co-create a learning resource, and a forum (2 hours, optional) between June and December 2025. A $40 gift card will be given to each participant as a token of appreciation for their time invested in the project.

The Future Ancestors Program acknowledges the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of so-called Australia.

We acknowledge Turrbal and Yaggera country - places on which we gather that have always been enriched by lore, community, culture and identity.

We recognise all indigenous people, in particular those from the Pacific and the interwoven history we share with the First Nations people of Australia.
