Pacific Pathways Mentoring Program

The mentorship program is open to Pasifika law students who seek support and guidance during their law school years.

We understand the difficulty in being raised in a Pasifika cultural household/background and transitioning into an Australian tertiary institution where the course program is defined, intensive, foreign and complex.

PLAQ members have navigated the tertiary system, been assessed and are now practicing in the Queensland legal system.

Since its inception, PLAQ have been approached to mentor a number of Pasifika students, who have been assigned PLAQ members to 'journey' with them through law school.
