Nekawa Creative Pasifika 2026

Creative Pasifika 2026 is a Youth Week event bringing together Pasifika young people aged 13-25 to explore creativity, culture, and wellbeing through the arts.


Held at Queensland Art Gallery & Gallery of Modern Art, this one-day experience will feature interactive workshops and performances across music, dance, visual arts, and storytelling creating a space where young people can express themselves, connect with others, and share their stories.


A highlight of the day includes a facilitated group gallery tour led by QAGOMA, offering participants the opportunity to experience a world-class creative space and gain inspiration from contemporary art and exhibitions.


Creative Pasifika is more than just an event it’s a culturally grounded space where Pasifika youth can explore identity, build confidence, and engage in meaningful conversations around mental health and wellbeing. Through creativity, participants are encouraged to use their voice, embrace their culture, and connect with community.
